            One thing everyone can agree on is that NBA All-Star LeBron James is a beast.            Standing at 6’8” and weighing 250 pounds, he is a force that no one wants to reckon with. However, James did not simply wake up one morning and find out that he had muscles bulging out from every part of his body. He had to constantly work towards earning his immense size and power, and this was made possible by having the right equipment and materials at his disposal. (more…)

Last year, due to insufficient sign-ups, the golf team was terminated for the entire season. This year, however, two freshmen joined the team, making a total of five players. And so, the golf team was back in action, just a week before their first match of the season in March. (more…)

Ochart fires up the baseball team

            Throughout history, every successful sports team has had an unsung hero: The Chicago Bulls of the 1990s had John Paxson who could make three-pointers in the tightest of moments; the Boston Red Sox had Mark Bellhorn step up during their championship run in 2004; and now the playoff-bound baseball team (9-5 league, 13-8) has its own unsung hero—Adam Ochart (’09).
            On a team with outstanding players like seniors Sako Chapjian, Jason Ochart, Oscar Aguirre, and Jason Tapia, junior Adam Ochart has stepped up to the plate and has become the unsung hero of the baseball team. (more…)

Whether they be long distance or short distance runners, track members often have this word in mind during a race or even a simple warm-up.

            These track stars are all very resilient and healthy students.  They participate in a sport that not only requires talent and leadership but technique and efficiency.  They rarely take breaks and they hardly ever disappoint. (more…)
