While holiday feasts and beautifully wrapped presents may be at the top of most students’ lists for this holiday season, Humanity Elevating Local Problems (HELP) club realizes that this may not be the case for everyone.
For this reason, HELP club has organized a special on-campus lunch to take place today in the quad in order to raise money for the Salvation Army’s Help An Angel foundation. For $5, students can purchase a plate of lasagna, a serving of salad, and a bread roll, with a drink and healthy dessert. (more…)

            They lied.

Sixteen: an age of independence, freedom, and most importantly, excitement.
            Once teens reach this critical age, they immediately prepare to venture out into the open road as verified drivers. Due to overbearing parents, however, some teenagers never experience this sense of enlightenment.
            Technology has advanced to a point where it becomes a threat to the privacy of individuals. The installation of cameras inside the cars of teen drivers is a preposterous method for parents to incessantly monitor their children. These programs are to be considered a violation of personal privacy and should therefore be abolished. (more…)
