Punk rock really needs a revival in recent years, which should take affect when
Switches’ album comes out. The band joined the U.S. music corporation Interscope and

New security heightens safety on campus

As of Nov. 19, Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) hired new security guards replacing former ones, Joyce Briscoe and Darush Arjang.
In early August security companies competed for the highest score in security rating. ESPY Security and Patrol Services Inc. won the highest rating. Therefore guards from that company were hired to work for the schools.
ESPY staff member Tyrain Eaton claims that there actually is no acronym for the company name, and that it comes from biblical times meaning to catch sight of. (more…)
Saturday school provides alternative to consequences of truancies

From the moment students enroll in primary school to their final year of high school, thoughts of graduation strike feelings of eagerness and excitement. While most are successful in their journey through their pre-college education, some may find themselves shocked to be presented with the news that although other graduation requirements have been fulfilled, the abundance of truancies on their record will prevent them from walking across the graduation stage in June to receive their diploma. Anti-Defamation League seminar cancelled due to protests

Due to pressure from parents, community members, and Armenian organizations, the Glendale Unified School District postponed a nonviolence seminar that was planned to take place on campus last week.
Called “A World of Difference” and sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the program was geared towards promoting nonviolence among students and providing diversity training. (more…)

Although they are known as wisdom teeth, having them removed does not lower one’s IQ level.
Most often, wisdom teeth are extracted for the purpose of correcting or preventing dental problems such as crowding of, or impaction of teeth through gums. (more…)
