     In Sorte Diaboli is Dimmu Borgir’s concept album, with the story located in medieval Europe. The storyline In Sorte Diaboli consists of a young man who awakens and realizes that he has different abilities and different powers, after a while, he discovers that he has nothing to do with Christianity.  His spirit has entered the dark sides of our world and has changed his religion beliefs from good to evil.  This thrilling nine track experience from Norwegian black metal band Dimmu Borgir captures the melodic abilities this band can deliver.

        “The Serpentine Offering,” Dimmu Borgir’s first single revealing why this album is a concept album with an excellent plot to go along with it. The keyboardist has style keeping this album going and has all the members making this album an artistic style of music.  The guitar riffs and high paced solo have Dimmu Borgir in the high marks and ranks of the album charts. “In Sorte Diaboli” is the rock anthem this band needed aside from their second best seller Death Cult Armageddon with “Progenies of the Great Apocalypse.” This album concept blows all their past creations away. The rest of the album tracks are musical tuned and catchy with excellent vocal skills.
