Are you committed to improving your overall health and fitness? Do you want to improve cardiovascular health, muscle strength, tone and definition? Do you want to improve flexibility to prevent injury and ensure continual gains? Fitness boot camp is the way to go.
The philosophy of boot camp stems from strength, stamina, and flexibility. At the Los Feliz Boot Camp Program at Griffith Park, the instructors make you sweat, work hard, and be dedicated.
It is a challenging and effective five-week exercise program which is designed for all fitness levels and all ages. It is intended to deliver maximum total body results.
“Many who come want to look good, slim down, and feel in power of their own bodies spiritually as well as emotionally,” said Los Feliz fitness trainer Ricardo Guzman.
Guzman feels these exercises will surely change one’s lifestyle and enhance one’s stamina.
“These exercises are quite difficult, but in the end it was very rewarding,” said Leslie Nathan, a participant in the Wednesday program. “[I] felt so much better having more energy after the exercise.”
Nathan feels that this fitness program will not only promote weight loss, but will help with other bad habits, such as procrastination, laziness, and boredom.
There are no loud gym music or bulky machines. All participants exercise outside in open space. Regardless of fitness levels, fitness boot camp will make any couch potato start a healthy lifestyle.
Ricardo Guzman, the instructor at the Los Feliz Boot Camp at Griffith Park, is known as “the expert in the art of discipline.”
He feels that this boot camp is for anyone, if they just “stick to it” and not “back out after the first session,” they will see major changes both in their lifestyles as well as their bodies.
It will provide “better performance at work or school, positive energy flow, reduced stress, elevated confidence, and personal satisfaction.”
Guzman has developed a wide range of techniques which makes it easier for students to cope with the rigorous routines and finish the program with less difficulty. They perform many exercises such as runs along the park, stretches to help a particular muscle, and going up and down the hill using different trails.
Classes are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 6-7a.m. or 7:15-8:15a.m.
“You will see results soon as five weeks, losing 5-7 pounds per session,” said Guzman.
