Counselor conundrum

According to dictionary.com, a counselor is “someone who gives advice about problems,” or “someone who has supervisory duties at summer camp.”
Although we are not at summer camp, our counselors are expected to play a similar role. The purpose of having counselors is for students to consult them in case they have any problems.

As you make your way through the congested halls, munching on a healthy apple that you failed to finish during the brief 15 minutes of snack, you discover that the source of the jam-packed, traffic-filled hallway is an affectionate couple playing and enjoying an intense game of “tongue-twister.” You feel remnants of the recently digested apple fiercely making their way up to your throat.
